Bedford’s oldest residence and the second oldest in Nova Scotia. Scott Manor is commemorating its rich colonial heritage with a special exhibit that transports visitors through time.
Four captivating vignettes will highlight key eras in the manor’s storied past:
- Colonel Scott, circa 1770: Step back to the colonial era under British rule when the house was first built.
- Victorian Era, circa 1848: Experience the elegance and refinement of the 19th century Victorian period.
- Tolson Family, circa 1948: Glimpse into the 20th century when the Tolsons made the manor their home.
- Town of Bedford, circa 1980: Discover the manor’s role in the modern-day Town of Bedford.
We invite you to tour this architectural gem and uncover the incredible history woven into the very fabric of the beautiful Scott Manor House. Immerse yourself in over two centuries of stories that have unfolded within these walls.
