A Public Talk about our Community by Historian David Haverstock
THURSDAY, APRIL 10 at 6:30 pm
at the Bedford Public Library
Free Admission – lots of parking space

Today, the neighbouring communities of Bedford and Hammonds Plains enjoy a sense of independence that makes each community unique and self-reliant. However, do you know how the communities reached this point and how they have always had connections between the two, even before they were established as villages?
Dave Haverstock from the Hammonds Plains Historical Society explores these connections in a presentation entitled ‘Bonding with the Basin’.
Come and learn about all the historical connections between the two communities, all the way back to the first connections, involving the Mi’ Kmaq first nations peoples.
All Welcome !!!
Brought to you as a result of a joint undertaking by the Fort Sackville Foundation, the Bedford Plains Historical Society, and the Bedford Public Library
