For Gail Meagher, LEGO is a lifestyle. Often known as ‘The LEGO Lady’, Gail has been building life-like replicas of Nova Scotia architecture since 2002.

When creating her displays, Gail begins by taking up to 100 photos of her subject. Next comes the tedious process of gathering the right LEGO pieces to do the job. The final product may take a month to complete depending on the scale and complexity of the project. All her hard work, Gail says, is worth it when both children and adults are blown away by her creations.

Are you interested in seeing Gail’s work for yourself? From July 22nd to 28th, Gail will be displaying her fun and family friendly show at the Scott Manor House in Bedford. This exhibit will showcase notable buildings within the Bedford community, such as the Chickenburger and our very own Scott Manor House! In addition to various houses and shops, the LEGO display will feature moving displays of trains and cars. The show will run daily from 1 to 4 pm.

Scott Manor House is open daily throughout the summer for guided tours from 10 to 4 pm and 12 to 8 pm on Wednesdays. Our tea room is open Monday through Saturday from 2 to 4 pm.
